Therapeutic Massage

Therapeutic massage is not a spa treatment.

I provide clients with individually tailored, advanced therapeutic massage techniques to manage, alleviate, and reduce chronic pain caused by illness, injury, or age. Each person’s session occurs in a private, nurturing, and serene environment to enhance and encourage healing. Through restorative therapy, I aim to help each client improve physical and mental well-being after an injury or aging.

For couples, I am now offering “Couples Reconnecting Through Touch Therapy.” Please call to inquire.

Emotional Body Work

Emotional Body Work is a therapeutic practice recognizing the intricate connection between emotions and the physical body. It involves working with the body to access, process, and release emotional blockages or traumas that may be stored within. Practitioners use techniques such as touch, movement, breath work, and mindfulness to help clients develop a deeper awareness of their emotions and how they manifest in the body. The goal is facilitating emotional healing, improving mind-body integration, and promoting overall well-being.

Pelvic Floor Release

Pelvic Floor Release is a non-invasive technique I developed integrating bodywork and massage techniques to release tension in the pelvic floor muscles, tension which can cause urinary or bowel problems. Through working with many clients, I’ve discovered that integrating deep breathing, skin rolling, lymphatic drainage, craniosacral therapy, and deep-tissue massage can relieve lower body pain and tension while strengthening and enhancing the flexibility of the pelvic floor muscles.

What to Expect with Emotional Body Work

Intake Process

The initial meeting with the client to touch on what you need, have tried, or still need to discover. We’ll go over what I would recommend for your situation, and what you can expect. The client is then encouraged to think about when and if you are ready to proceed.

Initial Session

Usually, 1-hour massage is to find out how your body responds to touch, and also to find out if you have any emotional reactions to the treatment.

From there, I will make recommendations on moving forward which also includes the client doing some “homework” to further aid your journey in healing.
